FAMILY LITERACY

A 10 week course in which you can brush-up your own literacy skills and work towards a nationally recognised qualification while your children develop their own skills within a small group led by an Early Years Teacher.

A 10 week course in which you can brush-up your own numeracy skills and work towards a nationally recognised qualification while your children develop their own skills within a small group led by an Early Years Teacher. Opportunities for families to work ‘together’ during joint sessions.

FAMILY ARTS

A creative course providing opportunities for you and your children to try out a range of art and craft activities in a safe and supportive learning environment. Some of the activities could include: mosaic tiling, tie-dye, glass painting, Decoupage,card and paper crafts, clay modelling.

HAPPY FAMILIES?

An 8 week course for parents/carers with children aged between 0-7 or 7-14 years. This course provides opportunities for you to share experiences and views within a supportive and confidential group, discuss ways of building positive relationships and developing confidence and self-esteem.

ONE STOP PARENT SHOP

A 2 hour workshop. Happy Families? taster session for parents/carers. This workshop will cover: the importance of play, positive role modelling and praise and encouragement. Opportunities provided for you to discuss and share experiences within a supportive and confidential group.

VIEW & TELL IT

A basic computing course providing opportunities for the family to use laptop computers and digital cameras to create your own books, stories or plays.
