Star:track Athletics courses this Easter at UEA

Star:track Athletics courses are taking place in the Easter holidays in Norwich and Great Yarmouth. These fun athletics activities involve running, jumping and throwing and are open to boys and girls aged 8 – 15. Experienced qualified athletics coaches run the courses and the children have a chance to try out different disciplines of athletics and take part in team relays. The Norwich course is happening at UEA Sportspark on 8th and 9th April and costs £28.

Running Sessions for 11-19 year olds. Bungay

Norfolk running club puts on sessions for kids

“Try running, it’s fun” is the message from Bungay Black Dog Running Club. If you are aged 11 – 19 why not come to a running session for beginners on Mondays after school.

The sessions are led by qualified coaches and cost 50p per session. Meet at Bungay Middle School 3:45 to 5:00pm. The sessions are open to boys and girls aged 11 – 19.

You don’t need to come to all the sessions – pick and choose the ones you want to join:

Mondays 1st, 8th and 22nd February and 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th March

The club have been awarded a Sport Unlimited grant to enable them to put on these sessions.

For mums, dads, carers and grandparents of children in Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6

Norfolk Family Learning Programme

are running a FREE Keeping Up With the Children course at Preston CE VC Primary School, Tasburgh

during the Spring Term.

The short course starts on Tuesday 26th January

from 9.15am – 11.15am and will run for 7 weeks.

A free crèche is available for your pre-schoolers.

This is your chance to take the mystery out of how your child is taught English and Maths at school and to learn ways in which you can support your child’s learning at home.

You do not need to know anything about teaching and learning. The course is free, informal and FUN!
